Throughout the year the DCFD conducts fire prevention education activities such as station tours, fire extinguisher and smoke house demonstrations, as well as teach American Heart CPR/First Aid . During fire prevention month (October) the firefighters visit K-2 classrooms in Dodge City schools to teach kids about fire safety.
