Strategic Plan

In partnership with Catholic Charities of Southwest Kansas, the City of Dodge City completed a strategic plan for welcoming and integration in Dodge City. The strategic plan provides vision, values and recommendations decided through community participation that offer recommendations for welcoming and integration efforts in Dodge City. It is designed to help position the City of Dodge City become more welcoming by integrating newcomers in our growing and diverse community.

Annual Priorities

The Cultural Relations Advisory Board (CRAB) is a City advisory board composed of at-large community members and organization representatives that work or deal closely with Dodge City’s immigrant and refugee populations.  The purpose of CRAB is to act as a resource for intercultural awareness, education, and celebration among all people.

Each year, CRAB collectively prioritizes the recommendations listed in the Strategic Plan and sets annual goals and priorities for its implementation.
