Started in 2019, the International Festival is a community-building event that brings together newcomers, long-time residents, law enforcement officers, nonprofits, and others to learn from and about each other, share food and music, and build trust. This annual celebration features free food samples from community members from various cultures, a great lineup of entertainment, food trucks, vendors, nonprofits, a car show and a cultural fashion show.
International Festival is Dodge City’s capstone celebration of Welcoming Week, a national campaign that celebrates the work in communities to become welcoming places for all, including immigrants.
