Sealed bids for Central Avenue Reconstruction, ST 1508
of the City of Dodge City, Kansas will be received in the Office of the City Clerk, 806 Second Avenue, P.O. Box 880, until 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24, 2018. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud immediately following the bid opening. All bidders are encouraged to attend a Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference at City Hall in the Municipal Court Room, 806 N. 2nd Ave., Dodge City, KS., at 2:00pm on Wednesday, April 4, 2018. Enter through the north door on 2nd Ave. of the City Hall building.
The project consists of: The removal of existing street, sidewalk, and driveway pavement. Installation of new 9” & 7” concrete paving, reconstruction of one block of brick pavers, new sidewalks & driveways, new storm sewer, a new 12” waterline and replacement and repair of 8”sanitary sewer line.
All bids shall be submitted on forms which can be found on the City of Dodge City’s web site, under the Bid Posting link or at the following link; http://www.dodgecity.org/bids.asp. The proposed contract documents consisting of specifications together with information for bidders, bid proposal, forms, and forms of contract, performance bond and statutory bond, can also be viewed on the city’s website at the link listed above.
