About the water system
Average yearly water usage for 2012-2016 was 2.7 billion gallons.
Winter usage is 2-3 million gallons daily.
Summer usage is 6-10 million gallons daily.
City is allotted 3.3 billion gallons of water per year.
The City’s water system is split into two distribution zones, north and south.
Soule / University Street divides the two zones.
The City is served by 21 wells, 3 water towers and 1 underground storage tank.
The underground storage tank and Towers 1 & 2 store 1 million gallons each
Tower 3 stores 1.5 million gallons
